Ernie Ball Nickel Wound 6-string Electric Bass Strings are made from nickel plated steel wrapped around a hex shaped steel core wire. Each bass guitar string produces a bright, balanced tone. Designed for basses with a 34 inch scale, the overall string length is 48" and the taper begins at 37 1/4". 

BALL END

The ball ends are made using brass wire rod which is machined and cut to exacting specifications to ensure a precise fit and function.
