This Limited Edition 5x14 Radio King Snare Drum is a reissue of one of the most beloved snares in drum history. Crafted from a single steam-bent plank of North American maple and finished in a striking Black Diamond Pearl wrap, this drum embodies vintage character with modern reliability. The 30-degree rounded bearing edges create optimal head-to-shell contact, resulting in a warm, full tone with incredible sensitivity and projection. Period-correct nickel-plated hardware and a 3-Point Strainer with Adjustable Snare Gates bring visual authenticity and dynamic control. Nickel-over-Brass Stick Chopper hoops offer crisp rimshots while managing overtones. Each drum includes a genuine calfskin batter head, a premium Slingerland-branded case, and a certificate of authenticity signed by DW founder Don Lombardi.
